Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Location: Lewiston, ME 04240

Compensation:

  • Local: $38 – $42/hour (Based on Experience)

  • Travel: $40 – $50/hour (Based on Experience)

Schedule:

  • 3 Days per Week

  • 12-Hour Shifts (Day/Night)

  • Approximately 36 Hours per Week


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The RN will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support residents’ long-term care needs, ensuring optimal health outcomes and quality of life.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly

  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care and IV therapy

  • Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs

  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members

  • Educate patients and families on care plans and treatments

  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation

  • Follow infection control and safety protocols

  • Participate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives


Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active RN License (Required)

  • BLS Certification (Required)

  • ACLS Certification (Preferred)

Experience:

  • New graduates are welcome (training provided)

  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred

  • SNF or long-term care experience preferred

  • Knowledge of geriatric and long-term care practices

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Detail-oriented with accurate documentation practices
