Salary Range: $56.74 – $85.11/hour (based on experience)
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead a 33-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. The Nurse Manager will oversee clinical operations, staff management, and patient care delivery, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient care. This role includes driving performance improvement initiatives, supporting staff development, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily unit operations and ensure safe, high-quality patient care
Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate nursing staff performance
Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, and professional development
Serve as a clinical resource and advocate for nursing staff
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Lead performance improvement initiatives and track program outcomes
Manage physician relationships and patient satisfaction efforts
Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
Maintain compliance with professional standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements
Conduct staff meetings, training, and educational programs
Ensure 24-hour accountability for unit operations and patient care standards
Identify opportunities to improve departmental processes and efficiency
Education & Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or related field
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
3–5 years of experience as a staff nurse in inpatient rehab
3–5 years of leadership or management experience
Strong clinical knowledge in rehabilitation nursing
Licensure & Certifications:
Active RN License (Texas or Compact)
BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross)
ACLS Certification (within 12 months of hire)
CRRN Certification (within 3 years of hire)
FIM exam (UDSMR credentialing) must be completed within 60 days of hire
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership, team management, and staff development skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of inpatient rehab practices and patient care standards
Ability to manage operations, staffing, and financial performance
Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance
