Job Title: Network Technician

Location: Ocoee, FL (Travel to nearby locations required)
Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)


Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Technician responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise network systems, including LAN, WAN, and wireless environments. This role involves proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration of network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across multiple locations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage network devices including switches, routers, and wireless systems

  • Support end-to-end network connectivity from DMARC to end-user devices

  • Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments

  • Maintain network performance, ensure high availability, and optimize Quality of Service (QoS)

  • Utilize network monitoring tools to identify and resolve faults

  • Perform system tuning and recommend improvements

  • Support Active Directory, Windows systems, and endpoint configurations

  • Collaborate with Information Security teams for firewall and network security requirements

  • Track incidents and asset movements using service desk ticketing systems

  • Participate in capacity planning, risk assessment, and contingency planning

  • Provide on-site and remote support across multiple locations

  • Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations

  • Maintain documentation and follow organizational IT policies and procedures


Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise network environments

  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN/WLAN technologies

  • Understanding of the OSI model and data flow concepts

  • Experience with Windows 11, Active Directory, and endpoint management tools (e.g., MECM)

  • Hands-on experience with network hardware (routers, switches, fiber, DHCP, etc.)

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities


Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Experience with HPE/Aruba networking equipment

  • Certifications such as:

    • CompTIA Network+

    • CompTIA Security+

    • Cisco CCNA
