"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort while delivering diagnostic-quality imaging.
Perform MRI procedures following established protocols
Position patients and coils to achieve optimal imaging results
Educate patients on procedures and provide clear instructions
Review patient safety questionnaires prior to scans
Ensure all images are accurately labeled and transmitted to PACS
Evaluate image quality for diagnostic acceptability
Maintain accurate documentation in Radiology Information System (RIS)
Schedule and track patient exams as required
Maintain cleanliness and organization of MRI suite and equipment
Monitor supplies and report equipment issues or safety concerns
Assist physicians during procedures when needed
Adhere to MRI safety standards and infection control protocols
Perform clerical duties as needed in the absence of support staff
Participate in training, in-services, and professional development
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (AMA/JRCERT approved)
Active NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology
ARRT (MRI) Certification
BCLS Certification
Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and MRI physics
Excellent technical and patient care skills
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
