Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (07:30 PM – 08:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $55 – $60 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with Medical-Surgical experience to join a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support clinical teams, and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
Deliver direct, individualized bedside care to pre- and post-surgical patients
Administer and document medications as prescribed
Perform clinical procedures such as dressing changes, catheter insertion, and IV initiation
Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment; accurately record patient data
Monitor vital signs and promptly report any adverse reactions or changes in condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning
Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
Adhere to established nursing standards, protocols, and best practices
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in:
Large acute care hospital setting OR
Post-acute or acute care facility
Recent experience within the past 12 months
Strong skills in:
Physical assessment
Medication administration
Wound care & infection control
IV therapy
Post-operative care
Patient education
Telemetry monitoring
Experience with EPIC EMR system
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verified)
AHA BLS Certification
AHA ACLS Certification (required for Queens assignments)
