A leading engineering and manufacturing organization is seeking an Engine Production Engineer to support production operations in collaboration with a major engine manufacturing customer team.
This role involves coordinating engineering activities, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring efficient and high-quality engine production.
Coordinate engine production engineering activities between technicians and internal engineering/IPT teams.
Support the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes, systems, and tools.
Communicate technical issues to engineering teams and collaborate on effective solutions.
Collect, analyze, and report engine production status and performance metrics.
Assist in improving production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in:
Engine parts management
Engine repair and testing
Engine assembly and disassembly
Ability to interpret:
Work instructions
Engineering drawings
Bills of materials (BOMs)
Experience with process development and optimization in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
(OR Associate’s Degree with relevant work experience)
Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production engineering.
Must be able to work onsite full-time in Middletown, CT.
