Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult Care (Home Health)
Location: Manhattan, NY
Job Type: Contract - 13 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 37.5 Hours/Week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Travel: Required (Patient Home Visits – Local Travel)
Local Pay: 2,962/week
Travel PAy: 3,661/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult Care (Home Health) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Manhattan, NY.

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) – Required
• Active New York RN License (Primary Source Verified)
• AHA BLS Certification – Required
• AHA ACLS Certification – Required (Queens-based roles)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience (acute or post-acute setting)
• Recent experience within the past year required
• Prior Home Health experience REQUIRED (must have independently traveled to patient homes)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Provide direct bedside care for pre- and post-surgical patients in home settings
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter insertions, and dressing changes
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and telemetry data
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care instructions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on discharge planning and care coordination
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Ensure adherence to clinical standards, infection control, and best practices
