Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist – General
Location: Syracuse, NY
Pay Rate: $54 – $59/hour
Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Day Shift | Monday – Friday
Shift Timing: 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM (Flexibility required to start at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM as needed)
Hours: 40 Hours/Week | 8 Hours/Day | 5 Days/Week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Ultrasound Technologist – General for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with a focus on breast imaging
• Assist with and perform breast ultrasound biopsy procedures
• Operate sonographic equipment independently and efficiently
• Analyze images and differentiate between normal and pathological findings
• Obtain and review patient medical history prior to procedures
• Communicate findings effectively with radiologists
• Manage daily workflow, patient scheduling, and lab operations
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience required
• Hands-on experience in breast ultrasound and biopsy procedures required
• Strong knowledge of sonographic imaging techniques and protocols
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (CHEA/USDOE recognized)

Certifications & Licensure

• RDMS Certification (Abdomen & OB/GYN) – Required
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
