Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Work Type: 100% Onsite (Local candidates only)
Pay Rate: $60 – $65/hour (based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Technician (CST) to support surgical procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The CST will assist the surgical team by maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments, and ensuring efficient workflow throughout surgical procedures.
Perform surgical scrub, gowning, and gloving procedures following aseptic standards.
Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and surgical supplies.
Assist surgeons by anticipating needs during procedures.
Maintain accurate counts of instruments, needles, and sponges.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterile techniques.
Assist with patient positioning and transfer using proper equipment.
Support operating room setup, turnover, and equipment cleaning.
Handle surgical instruments and supplies in compliance with protocols.
Licensure/Certification:
Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification required
Education:
High School Diploma required
Completion of an accredited CST Training Program required
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
Skills:
Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control practices
Familiarity with surgical instruments and operating room protocols
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
