Job Title: Radiation Therapist – Radiology/Cardiology
Job Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: Day Shift – 5x8 Hours (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Desired Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Schedule: Monday – Friday
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in a clinical oncology setting. The therapist will deliver radiation treatments as prescribed while ensuring patient safety, accuracy, and comfort throughout the treatment process.
Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions
Prepare and position patients accurately for treatment procedures
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively
Monitor patients during treatment and respond to any adverse reactions
Maintain precise treatment records and documentation
Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with safety standards and radiation protection protocols
Active Radiation Therapist license (as required by state)
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist in a clinical setting
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and treatment procedures
