Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Circulator)

Location: Morristown, VT
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks


Shift & Schedule Options:

  • Day & Evening Shifts Available

  • Schedule Options:

    • 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

    • 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, or 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

  • On-Call Requirements:

    • Once per week

    • Every 5th weekend


Compensation:

  • Weekly Gross Pay: $2,200 – $2,800 (based on experience)


Job Overview:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Operating Room to serve as a Circulating Nurse. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide perioperative nursing care as an Operating Room Circulator

  • Deliver patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures

  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure optimal outcomes

  • Maintain patient safety and adherence to sterile techniques

  • Follow established nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements

  • Document patient care accurately and timely


Required Certifications & Licensure:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (state license required upon acceptance)

Certifications Required:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)


Required Experience:

  • Less than 1 year of experience accepted


Specialty Requirements:

  • Primary: Operating Room RN

  • Sub-Specialty: Circulating Nurse


Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of perioperative nursing practices

  • Strong attention to detail and patient safety

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment

  • Effective teamwork and communication skills


Work Environment:

  • Operating Room setting

  • Requires flexibility for varied shifts and on-call coverage
