Job Title: Registered Nurse – Med Surg / Telemetry

Location: Morristown, VT
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night (3x12-Hour Shifts)

Compensation:

• Weekly Gross Pay: $2,200 – $2,500 (based on experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, clinically strong, and capable of working across various patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide age-specific, direct patient care using the nursing process

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

• Monitor patients on telemetry and respond to changes in condition

• Adhere to nursing standards and specialty-specific clinical guidelines

• Delegate tasks effectively to support staff and assist with team coordination

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Required Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
  (All certifications must be active prior to start or scheduled before orientation)

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License

• Experience in Med Surg and/or Telemetry nursing

Preferred Experience:

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Step Down / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

• Adult Med-Surg / Orthopedics / Pediatrics

• Telemetry Monitoring

• Critical Access Hospital settings

• Observation or Special Care Units (SCU)

• Critical Care (CCU)

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum: Less than 1 year of experience accepted

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced inpatient care setting

• Requires adaptability, teamwork, and strong clinical judgment
