Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring compliance with clinical standards and hospital policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)

  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient documentation

  • Perform ongoing patient assessments (physical, psychological, and social)

  • Develop and communicate care plans with interdisciplinary teams

  • Function effectively in a charge nurse role when required

  • Utilize computerized nursing and documentation systems

  • Provide guidance, education, and support to staff and ancillary personnel

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care evaluations

  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards

  • Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff


Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience

  • At least 1 year of ER travel experience

  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required)

  • Strong skills in IV insertion, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring

  • Ability to pass pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams

  • Proficient in English communication (written and verbal)


Preferred Qualifications

  • TNCC, ENPC, and PALS certifications

  • De-escalation training/certification
