"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Manager – Outpatient Imaging to support leadership within a high-performing Radiology department. This role combines clinical expertise with operational oversight, ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services while maintaining efficiency, compliance, and exceptional patient care.
Reporting to the Radiology Manager, the Assistant Manager will play a key role in staff supervision, workflow optimization, and strategic initiatives, while fostering a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Support daily departmental operations, including staffing, scheduling, and productivity management
Supervise Lead and Senior Technologists, with indirect oversight of all imaging staff
Ensure adherence to imaging quality standards, protocols, and departmental policies
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and program development
Assist in staff development, engagement, evaluations, and corrective actions
Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, administrative staff, and service engineers
Act as a liaison to address patient concerns and enhance patient satisfaction
Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (Joint Commission, ACR, Title 17 & 22)
Monitor departmental KPIs and provide updates on performance, quality, and patient experience
Support coordination of imaging services across departments to optimize workflow
Maintain clinical competency and perform imaging procedures as needed
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered care
Required:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Diagnostic Technologist in an acute care setting
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare environment
Preferred:
3–5 years of leadership/management experience
Associate degree or higher in a relevant field
Required:
California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License OR ARRT Certification
Current CPR Certification
Preferred:
Advanced certifications (e.g., MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine)
Strong knowledge of radiology practices, imaging techniques, and patient care standards
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and accreditation requirements
Proven leadership and team management capabilities
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to analyze performance metrics and drive operational improvements
Commitment to quality assurance and patient-focused care
