RN Case Manager – Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Job Type: Contract | Full-Time
Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Emergency Department
Pay: $2745 - $2,948.50 per week (Travel)
Schedule:
Evening Shift
Four 10.5-hour shifts per week
Rotating days, weekends, and holidays
Hours: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager to support care coordination in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The role focuses on utilization review, discharge planning, and ensuring appropriate and cost-effective patient care.
Perform admission and clinical assessments using InterQual® or similar tools
Review level of care (Inpatient vs. Observation)
Manage utilization review, appeals, and required notices
Coordinate discharge planning and patient transfers
Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and care teams
Participate in daily rounds and care coordination
Minimum 3 years of recent acute care experience
Recent experience in discharge planning and utilization review
Active RN license (Massachusetts)
BSN preferred
Experience with InterQual® or equivalent system preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
CCM or CPUM certification preferred
