"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in an inpatient hospital setting. The technologist will operate CT equipment, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality diagnostic images to support physician diagnosis and treatment.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in CT imaging, excellent patient care skills, and a solid understanding of radiation safety protocols.
Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established radiology protocols
Utilize appropriate imaging techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic CT scans
Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment
Administer contrast materials as prescribed, following established safety procedures
Maintain accurate patient imaging records and documentation for radiologist review
Follow ALARA radiation safety guidelines to minimize patient and staff exposure
Perform routine quality assurance and safety testing on imaging equipment
Prepare, retrieve, and maintain patient imaging files and electronic records
Monitor patients before, during, and after imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort
Education
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Licensure / Certification
New York State Radiologic Technologist License (LRT) – Required
ARRT Certification in Radiography – Required
ARRT CT Certification – Required
BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
Prior experience in a hospital or radiology department preferred
Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and diagnostic procedures
Understanding of radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
Ability to operate CT scanners and radiology equipment efficiently
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to assess and respond to patient needs during imaging procedures
Strong attention to detail for imaging quality and documentation
Proficiency in maintaining imaging records and department logs
