Shift Details

  • Schedule: Day Shift (Rotating Weekends)

  • Timing: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Schedules may be staggered based on hospital needs

Compensation & Incentives

  • New Graduate: $35.77/hr

  • Mid-Level (≈10 years experience): $44.71/hr

  • Senior Level (16+ years experience): $49.18/hr

Additional Benefits

  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

  • Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Summary

A healthcare facility in Gainesville, FL is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join its rehabilitation team. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall functional independence.

This role involves collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and support optimal recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient physical conditions and develop individualized therapy treatment plans

  • Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and patient outcomes

  • Educate patients and families on rehabilitation exercises, therapy techniques, and safety practices

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff to coordinate patient care

  • Mentor and support therapy assistants and students when required

Required Qualifications

  • Active Physical Therapist License – State of Florida

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association

Experience

  • 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience preferred

  • New graduates are welcome to apply
