Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Salary: $60,000 – $85,000 annually
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team in Great Falls, Montana. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients who are hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable and require close monitoring and advanced clinical support. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care throughout the hospitalization process.

Provide direct patient care for medical and surgical patients from admission through discharge.
Monitor and treat patients with complex conditions including CHF, COPD, DKA, renal failure, sepsis, DVT, PE, and post-cardiac procedures.
Manage patients requiring central lines, chest tubes, arterial lines, nasogastric tubes, and continuous bladder irrigation.
Deliver care for patients requiring short-term ventilatory support and continuous cardiac monitoring.
Utilize telemetry monitoring and perform basic EKG interpretation.
Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care and recovery.
Provide leadership and support to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other clinical staff.
Assist with precepting and mentoring new nursing staff.
Participate in discharge planning and provide patient and family education.
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
Active RN License (or eligibility to obtain).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
Experience in Progressive Care, Critical Care, or advanced Medical/Surgical units.
Pediatric patient care experience.
Additional certifications such as EPNC or TNCC.
Ability to operate advanced medical equipment, including invasive lines and ventilatory support systems.
Proficiency with multiple IV pumps, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
