Location: Rochester, NY 14621

Facility: Hospital – Medical Surgical Unit
Pay Rate
Travel: $1,407.50/week (Negotiable)
Local: $1,200/week (Negotiable)
Schedule
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 4×12s (4 Days per Week)
Weekend: Every Other Weekend
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care in a Medical Surgical hospital unit. The LPN will work with RNs and the healthcare team to monitor patient conditions, administer medications, assist with treatments, and maintain accurate patient records.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor vital signs and patient conditions
Administer oral, IM, SQ, and tube medications
Assist with blood glucose monitoring and oxygen therapy
Provide basic wound care and dressing changes
Assist with Foley catheter care and specimen collection
Support telemetry monitoring and EKG procedures
Document patient care in EPIC system
Communicate patient status updates to the care team
Requirements
Graduate of an Accredited Practical Nursing Program
Active New York LPN License
BLS Certification
Recent Acute Care / Medical Surgical experience (within 2 years)
Experience with EPIC charting system
Preferred
Medical Surgical or Telemetry experience
Strong teamwork and communication skills
