Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care for patients across multiple age groups in an acute care hospital environment. The Respiratory Therapist will assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders while collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Shift & Scheduling

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts

• Shift Time: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Patient Population

Candidates must be comfortable treating patients across all age groups:

• Pediatrics

• Adolescents

• Adults

• Geriatrics

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

• Active South Carolina State License

• BLS – Basic Life Support

• ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

• PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support

• NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience using EPIC documentation system

• First-time travelers are not accepted

• Preferred experience in:

  • Teaching hospitals

  • Community hospitals

  • Trauma Level I or II facilities

Systems & Technology

• Medication Dispensing System: Omnicell

• Electronic Medical Records: Epic
