Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Telemetry (Travel Contract)
Location: Rochester, NY 14626
Compensation:
Travel Pay: $2,124/week
Local Pay: $1,828/week
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule:
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Shifts: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced inpatient setting. The RN will care for patients with complex medical and cardiac conditions while continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Patient Care
Provide direct nursing care for Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
Clinical Skills
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Manage peripheral lines and follow infection control protocols
Monitoring & Treatment
Monitor respiratory and cardiac conditions
Utilize respiratory support equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and ventilators
Manage specialized equipment such as tracheostomy tubes, chest tubes, and portable oxygen systems
Emergency Response
Recognize and respond to rapid changes in patient condition
Participate in rapid response situations and provide appropriate airway management
Documentation
Accurately document patient care and interventions in an electronic medical record (EMR) system
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
Minimum 1 year of RN experience
BLS Certification
Experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units
Familiarity with Epic or other EMR systems
