Schedule:
Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Wednesday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Total Hours: 44 Hours per Week
Pay Rate: $22 – $24 per hour (W2)
A healthcare facility in Melbourne, FL is seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support both clinical and administrative operations. The Medical Assistant will assist with patient care, clinical procedures, and front-office coordination while ensuring a positive and efficient patient experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience in occupational health settings, phlebotomy, and electronic medical records, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
Support front and back office operations within the clinic
Greet and room patients while ensuring a professional and welcoming environment
Record patient vital signs and medical histories
Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture for blood sample collection
Administer vaccinations and medications as directed by providers
Assist providers during examinations and clinical procedures
Conduct EKG and point-of-care (POC) testing
Schedule patient appointments and manage phone communications
Maintain accurate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation
Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies and equipment
Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure efficient patient care and clinic workflow
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (in addition to externship)
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification
Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience
Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Front and back office clinical support
Phlebotomy and blood collection
EKG procedures
Point-of-care (POC) testing
Patient scheduling and appointment coordination
Patient intake and rooming procedures
Monitoring and recording vital signs
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification through the American Heart Association
