Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)

Shift: Tuesday – Friday | 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $45 – $50 per hour

Position Summary

A healthcare facility in Cumming, GA is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

The technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment standards, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic imaging procedures for inpatient and outpatient patients

  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images

  • Assist physicians during C-arm procedures and fluoroscopic exams

  • Support procedures such as lumbar punctures and routine X-ray imaging

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide clear instructions

  • Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety practices

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation in electronic medical record systems

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during procedures

  • Maintain imaging equipment and report any technical issues when necessary

  • Follow facility policies, radiation safety standards, and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience

  • Experience with Operating Room (OR) procedures and Fluoroscopy

  • Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system

  • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging procedures

  • Excellent communication and patient care skills

Education Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Certifications & Licensure

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
