Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department / ICU Holding
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Job Type: Contract | Onsite
Pay Rate: $50 – $59 per hour (Local)
Shift: Night Shift (12-hour shifts)
Schedule: 36 hours per week (3 shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• Some holidays required
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care in the Adult Emergency Department / ICU Holding Unit. The ideal candidate should have strong ICU experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment caring for high-acuity patients.
Responsibilities
Provide critical and acute care to adult patients in the ED/ICU holding unit
Perform nursing assessments and develop patient care plans
Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies
Work closely with physicians and the healthcare team
Document patient care accurately in the EPIC system
Follow hospital policies and safety standards
Requirements
Active New York State RN License
BLS Certification
Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care hospital experience
ICU experience required
Emergency Department experience preferred
Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma hospitals preferred
EPIC EMR experience preferred
