"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Level I) with strong experience in cloud networking, infrastructure automation, and network security to support enterprise cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable networking solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, while collaborating with engineering and architecture teams to support mission-critical applications.
Design, deploy, and maintain cloud networking infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
Manage and support virtual network appliances such as Arista CloudEOS and Palo Alto PAN-OS with integrations into cloud network infrastructure.
Implement on-premises to cloud connectivity solutions including VPN and Direct Connect to support application requirements.
Participate in advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution across multi-discipline technologies.
Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotating schedule for network troubleshooting and issue escalation.
Assist application teams with connectivity design and compliance with security standards.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for cloud configuration and deployments.
Monitor and analyze network performance using tools such as Splunk, Zenoss, Panorama, and Wireshark.
Ensure high availability of cloud network environments through monitoring, change control, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Support network performance analysis, capacity planning, and technical training for junior team members.
Document architecture, designs, and implementations using Microsoft Visio.
Collaborate with cloud connectivity providers to develop solutions and resolve connectivity issues.
3–7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar cloud infrastructure role.
Strong expertise in AWS networking, including:
VPCs, subnets, security groups, route tables
Virtual Private Gateway, Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN
Site-to-Site VPN, Direct Connect
NACLs, load balancers, peering, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of Layer 3 networking, including:
BGP, VRFs, route maps, redistribution
NAT, subnetting, and routing concepts
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto PAN-OS, including:
Security policies, NAT policies, zones
Routing, tunnels, upgrades, logging, and monitoring
Experience with cloud application platforms such as Kubernetes and serverless services.
Hands-on experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure networking, including VNets, NSGs, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and load balancers.
Experience with Google Cloud networking, including VPCs, Cloud Router, Cloud VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and Cloud NAT.
Familiarity with network monitoring and packet analysis tools such as Splunk, Zenoss, Palo Alto Panorama, NfSen, Ixia, Gigastor, and Wireshark.
Experience documenting technical architecture using Microsoft Visio.
Knowledge of DNS architecture, including public/private and split-brain DNS designs.
