Job Summary

The Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Compliance Analyst supports the review, documentation, and investigation of workplace complaints and reasonable accommodation requests. This role assists with managing a high volume of Equal Employment Opportunity cases while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Working under the supervision of the EEO Officer or Project Manager, the analyst will assist with investigative research, documentation, reporting, and compliance activities while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee information.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with triaging, documenting, and investigating Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaints.

  • Review and analyze reasonable accommodation (RA) requests submitted by employees.

  • Conduct preliminary fact-finding, investigative research, and data analysis related to EEO cases.

  • Prepare investigative summaries, case reports, and supporting documentation.

  • Maintain accurate records in case management systems.

  • Assist with the preparation of compliance reports and EEO documentation.

  • Support the management of high volumes of EEO complaints and accommodation requests.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and case information.

  • Collaborate with EEO staff and internal stakeholders during investigations and case reviews.

  • Provide administrative and analytical support for ongoing EEO compliance activities.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience conducting investigations or performing similar analytical work.

  • Experience supporting EEO investigations or reviewing reasonable accommodation requests preferred.

  • Experience performing investigative support work of similar scope and complexity.

  • Strong analytical writing and documentation skills.

  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.


Knowledge Requirements

Familiarity with the following employment laws and regulations is preferred:

  • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964

  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

  • New York State Human Rights Law (SHRL)

  • New York City Human Rights Law (CHRL)

  • Equal Employment Opportunity policies and compliance standards.


Technical Skills

  • Experience using case management systems.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
