Job Title: Registered Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: 8 Hours × 5 Days (Day Shift)
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,500 – $2,800 (Based on Experience)
A leading healthcare facility in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced Registered Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer to perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound examinations. The technologist will work closely with cardiologists and healthcare professionals to obtain diagnostic images of the heart to assist in patient evaluation and treatment.
Perform echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound procedures according to physician orders.
Obtain accurate diagnostic images of the heart, including pediatric cardiac imaging.
Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures.
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
Assist physicians in evaluating cardiac structure and function.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
Follow all patient safety, infection control, and imaging protocols.
Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program, including Military Training programs if applicable.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) – issued by ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
OR
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) – issued by CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer
Pediatric Cardiac Sonography / Echo Tech experience required
Experience with cardiac stress testing
