Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department
Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Varies
Pay Rate: $47 – $52 per hour
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced emergency setting, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care to individuals with urgent and critical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions.
Provide direct patient care including medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and emergency interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Respond quickly to trauma, cardiac, neurological, and other life-threatening emergencies.
Perform and assist with diagnostic procedures and treatments as required.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH
Ability to work night shifts and a variable schedule in a high-acuity environment
