Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Travel Contract)
Location: Atlanta 30342
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $62 – $67 per hour
Note: Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible.
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures, maintaining patient safety, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams in a fast-paced medical environment.
Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Monitor patients during procedures and ensure comfort, safety, and proper positioning.
Review and evaluate images for quality and completeness before submitting for interpretation.
Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and procedure logs.
Follow strict radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Perform quality control checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
Educate patients about procedures and address any concerns prior to imaging.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
ARRT Certification – Nuclear Medicine Technology
ARRT Certification – CT (Computed Tomography)
BLS Certification – Required
ACLS – Preferred
