Job Title: Hospital Laboratory Director
Location: Nashville, TN (Relocation Assistance Available)

Salary: $93,000 – $140,000 per year (Based on Experience)
Additional Compensation: $15,000 Sign-On Bonus + Up to 17.5% Incentive Bonus

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Hospital Laboratory Director to lead and manage laboratory operations at a high-volume hospital environment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical laboratory services, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing staffing, and driving operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient care.
Direct and manage daily laboratory operations including staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards including CAP, JCAHO, CLIA, FDA, and CMS.
Lead, mentor, and develop laboratory staff through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Monitor financial performance including utilization, cost control, and preparation of Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs).
Manage vendor relationships, supply contracts, and operational policies and procedures.
Delegate responsibilities effectively while providing training and guidance to ensure team success.
Maintain high standards of quality, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration across departments.
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology, or Chemistry (Required).
Master’s Degree (Preferred).
National MT certification required.
State laboratory license required for applicable states (including Tennessee).
5+ years of progressive laboratory management experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Strong leadership, operational management, and regulatory compliance experience.
