Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Cardiology Clinic

Location: Great Falls, Montana
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 3 shifts per week | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $60,000 – $92,000 (Based on experience)

  • Retention Bonus: $10,000 available

Position Overview

A regional healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Outpatient Cardiology Clinic team.

The RN will provide professional nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions while assisting providers in patient evaluations, treatments, and care coordination. This role serves as a key communication link between patients, healthcare providers, and clinical staff to ensure effective and efficient care delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing care for patients in the cardiology clinic.

  • Assist providers with cardiac patient evaluations, treatments, and procedures.

  • Coordinate patient care with providers, coordinators, and clinic staff.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between patients and the healthcare team.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established care protocols.

  • Provide patient education regarding cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans.

  • Support clinic operations and ensure efficient patient flow and care coordination.


Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.


Experience

  • Preferred: Minimum 2 years of cardiac nursing experience.


Required Licenses & Certifications

  • Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification


Required Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of:

  • EKG interpretation

  • Cardiac arrhythmias

  • Cardiac medications

  • Cardiac procedures

  • Basic coronary care

Additional Skills:

  • Medical terminology knowledge

  • Basic nursing principles and clinical procedures

  • Computer and keyboarding skills

  • Basic office and administrative skills
