Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an exciting opportunity in Montour Falls, NY. This position is based in a long-term care setting and is ideal for a compassionate and dedicated nurse looking to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a strong potential for extension based on performance and facility needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and document patient-centered nursing care.
• Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical diagnoses.
• Prioritize and deliver nursing interventions aligned with best practices.
• Provide therapeutic care and monitor patient conditions.
• Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
• Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an LPN in a long-term care or similar clinical setting.

Licenses/Certifications (Required Prior to Start):

• Valid LPN license (New York)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association required)
