Job Title: School Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Columbia, SC 29223
Duration: 18 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (37.5 Hours per Week)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Registered Nurse (RN) to provide full-time nursing support within a school setting. The RN will work closely with students in a disabilities classroom and provide dedicated 1:1 care for a student requiring specialized medical support.
Provide direct nursing care to students during school hours
Deliver 1:1 care to a student with a tracheostomy (trach)
Perform frequent tracheal suctioning and monitor respiratory status
Support students in a special education/disabilities classroom
Respond to medical emergencies and maintain a safe school environment
Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
Active South Carolina RN License (Required)
Experience with tracheostomy care and suctioning (Required)
Previous school nursing or pediatric experience preferred
Strong assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and provide compassionate care
Local Rate: $30 – $38 per hour (based on experience)
Travel Rate: $40 – $48 weekly gross (based on experience)
37.5 hours per week
Day shift – No weekends
