Position Overview

An outpatient Pediatric Center is seeking one experienced Ambulatory Pediatric RN (minimum 3 years) for a 26-week assignment.

This is a high-volume clinic environment serving a diverse patient population, including a large Spanish-speaking community. Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred.

The RN must be comfortable with vaccine schedules, telephone triage, and ambulatory pediatric workflows.

Note: First-time travelers are not accepted.

Common Diagnoses

• Well-child visits

• Asthma

• Viral illnesses

• Gastroenteritis

• Developmental delay (including autism)

• Obesity

Special Procedures

• Nasopharyngeal specimen collection

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License

• Minimum 3 years of Pediatric experience

• BLS certification (required)

• EPIC experience required

• Telephone triage experience

• Comfortable working with high Spanish-speaking population

Preferred Certifications

• Asthma Educator Certification

• Breastfeeding Counselor Certification

• Pediatric medication dosage calculations

• Hyperbilirubinemia management

• Seizure disorder management

• Oral/nasal suctioning

• Oxygen delivery systems

Feeding & GI

• Breastfeeding support

• IV therapy
