Job Title: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Tele
Location: Massena, NY
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift – 3x12s (7:30 AM – 7:30 PM)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Local Pay: $45–$50 per hour
Travel Pay: Up to $61 per hour (including stipend

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Tele for an exciting Travel or Local job in Massena, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
• Administer medications and blood products safely and accurately
• Initiate and maintain IV access (peripheral, central lines, PICC)
• Manage patients requiring oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, and HFNC
• Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
• Adhere to infection control and isolation protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience
• Epic EMR experience required

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
