Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Special Education Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an exciting job in Tucson, AZ.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, communication, and related disorders

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with IDEA guidelines

  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings

  • Address articulation, language, fluency, voice, social communication, and AAC needs as appropriate

  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, audiologists, and multidisciplinary team members

  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, evaluations, and billing records (if applicable)

  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings

  • Provide consultation and strategies to staff and families to support communication across settings

  • Adapt therapy approaches to support students with hearing loss, visual impairments, and other disabilities

  • Ensure compliance with school policies, ethical standards, and professional guidelines

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive educational environment

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and required training

  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Experience providing speech-language services in a school or pediatric setting

  • Strong understanding of speech and language development and related disorders

  • Knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and compliance standards

  • Ability to work effectively with students with diverse needs and abilities

  • Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Professional, flexible, and student-focused approach

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing or visually impaired

  • School-based or special education experience

  • Familiarity with AAC systems and assistive technology


Education & Licensure Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Current Arizona SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or Clinical Fellowship eligible
