Compensation:
Annual Salary: $52,000 – $92,000 (based on experience)
Hourly Rate: $25.00 – $44.23
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including both X-ray and CT examinations, in accordance with established protocols. This role emphasizes patient safety, image quality, and compassionate patient care while supporting accurate diagnostic outcomes.
Perform X-ray and CT imaging procedures following departmental standards
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during exams
Verify exam orders and patient identification prior to procedures
Evaluate images for technical quality and completeness
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Current CPR certification
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Basic computer proficiency
Strong interpersonal skills and professional judgment
Ability to follow routine instructions accurately
Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills
Commitment to quality patient care and safety
Current Illinois Radiologic Technologist License required
