Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Ashburn, VA
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: 1:50 PM – 3:40 PM
Pay Rate: $48 – $53 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapeutic services to students within a school district setting. The OT will support students in developing fine motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing abilities to enhance their academic performance and overall functional independence.
Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, and motor development needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals.
Deliver therapy sessions to improve functional and academic-related skills.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into classroom activities.
Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Provide guidance and training to school staff on accommodations and therapeutic strategies.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
Previous experience working in a school or educational setting preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Active and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
