Job Title: X-Ray Technologist (0–2 Years Experience) – Contract
Location: New York, NY 10019
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Varied Shifts | 37.5 Hours per Week (7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week)
Pay Rate: $58 – $63 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a licensed X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in New York, NY. The technologist will operate radiologic imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality care standards.
Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures
Operate X-ray equipment and adjust exposure factors as needed
Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff
Follow infection control policies and established procedures
Review and maintain quality of radiographs
Document patient information and completed exams accurately
Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and report maintenance needs
Maintain inventory of radiology supplies
Participate in continuing education and maintain regulatory requirements
Complete annual competency requirements
Perform other related duties as assigned
0–2 years of experience (new graduates encouraged to apply)
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
Active New York State License (L.R.T.)
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
