The Registered Nurse – LDRP provides comprehensive nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients. This role requires strong clinical expertise, flexibility, and the ability to function independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team. Travelers are expected to integrate seamlessly and function at the same level as core staff.
Labor: 1–2 : 1
Postpartum: 3–4 : 1
Provide care across Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum settings
Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Deliver postpartum and newborn care, including patient education
Accurately document all care in the Epic EMR system
Respond to obstetric emergencies and provide newborn resuscitation as needed
Float as required within the facility and to affiliated campuses
Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience (Required)
Degree accreditation must be listed on profile OR candidate must have 5+ years of RN experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Required Certifications:
BLS
ACLS
NRP
Floating Required – Travelers are first to float and may float to sister campuses
50-mile radius rule applies from permanent address
Call Required (12 hours per month)
