Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED) – Contract

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 26-week contract assignment in a high-acuity hospital setting. The ideal candidate must have strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Facility may call off up to 3 shifts per contract.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York RN License (In Hand)

• Minimum 5 years of current ED experience preferred

• BLS – Required

• PALS – Required

• NIH Stroke Certification – Required

• EPIC charting experience

• Omnicell medication system experience

• Telemetry skills required

• Must pass hospital-proctored rhythm interpretation exam:

  • 80% accuracy in rhythm identification

  • 100% accuracy in identifying critical rhythms

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS Certification

• Triage experience

• Level 1 Trauma experience

Vaccination Requirements

• Flu vaccine required by 11/1

• Flu season begins 12/5

• Medical or religious exemptions must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date for approval
