Shift: Night Shift | 5x8 Hours (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Gross Weekly Pay: $2,485
W2 Rate: $33/hour
Weekly Stipend: $1,246
A secure healthcare facility in Moravia, NY is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Correctional for a 26-week night shift assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care within a correctional environment, ensuring the delivery of safe, timely, and patient-centered care while adhering to strict safety and security protocols.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, emergency response capability, and the ability to work effectively in a structured, secure setting.
Conduct patient assessments and provide direct nursing care
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Respond to medical emergencies and urgent care needs
Monitor and document patient conditions accurately
Collaborate with healthcare providers and correctional staff
Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and safety procedures
Ensure secure handling of medications and medical supplies
Active New York State RN License
Previous nursing experience required (correctional experience preferred but not required)
Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
Ability to work in a secure environment with strict adherence to safety protocols
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical exemptions considered)
