Job Title: Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health
Location: Brooklyn, NY (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $145,000 – $160,000 per year
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead an inpatient psychiatric unit within a hospital setting. Responsible for daily operations, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and staff leadership to ensure safe, patient-centered behavioral health services.
Required: Experience managing an inpatient psychiatric unit in a hospital setting.
Provide 24-hour operational oversight of the Behavioral Health unit
Manage admissions, discharges, and discharge planning
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Lead quality improvement initiatives (CQI, Root Cause Analysis)
Monitor patient satisfaction and service excellence
Prepare clinical and statistical reports
Oversee budgeting, supplies, and inventory
Support staff development and education
BSN from an accredited program
Active New York State RN License
BLS & ACLS certifications
Crisis Management certification (PMCS or TRUST)
5+ years RN experience
5+ years psychiatric clinical experience
2+ years leadership experience
Inpatient psychiatric unit management experience
Master’s Degree in Nursing
Quality improvement and regulatory readiness experience
Strong knowledge of behavioral health best practices
