Leadership Accountability: 24/7 team accountability (no regular call rotation)
Salary Range: $90,900 – $136,200 (based on experience)
Relocation Assistance: $10,000 (for candidates residing more than 50 miles from the facility)
Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-case basis
This role is based at a 150-bed acute care hospital that has been serving its community for over 40 years. The facility is recognized for excellence in surgical and specialty care, including:

Primarily elective surgery with a strong outpatient focus
The OR Nurse Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for Surgical Services, ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care. This role is responsible for daily operations, staffing, workflow coordination, and clinical quality while maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
The Manager provides oversight for:
Operating Room (OR)
Central Sterile Processing
Anesthesia Services
First Assist Team
The position manages approximately 50 direct reports and 4–5 Coordinators and works closely with Surgical Services leadership and peer department managers (e.g., PACU, Endoscopy, Same Day Surgery).
Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and outcomes
Monitor nursing care delivery and ensure adherence to clinical standards
Maintain appropriate staffing levels and operational efficiency
Coordinate departmental operations and safety initiatives
Interview, hire, and onboard new team members
Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management
Conduct competency assessments and performance evaluations
Hold staff accountable for clinical quality and outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery
Address patient, physician, and visitor concerns professionally
Partner with leadership to support organizational goals and initiatives
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma – Required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state
Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience – Required
Prior clinical leadership experience required (Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Lead experience accepted)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required
