Job Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Location: New York, NY 10016
Job Type: 14-Week Local Contract
Schedule: Rotating Shifts (8:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
Hours: 35 Hours per Week (Five 7–8 Hour Shifts)
Pay Rate: $55 – $60 per Hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) for an exciting job in New York, NY.
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for adult patients.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and discharge plans.
Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling services.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and case managers.
Coordinate referrals to community-based services and outpatient programs.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Advocate for patients to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Participate in case conferences and team meetings.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and New York State licensing standards.
Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW).
Active New York State Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license (Primary Source Verification required).
Minimum one (1) year of LMSW experience.
Experience working with adults with mental illness.
Strong crisis intervention and communication skills.
Hospital-based social work experience.
Experience in large urban healthcare systems.
Familiarity with discharge planning in acute care settings.
