Registered Nurse (RN) – Recovery Room (PACU)
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours per Week
Rotating shifts: 8:00am–4:30pm, 9:00am–5:30pm, 10:00am–6:30pm, 11:00am–7:30pm
No weekends, no holidays, no on-call
Pay Rate: $60 – $65 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Recovery Room (PACU) for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.
Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care to patients, including assessment of physical, psychological, and social needs.
Administer and monitor medications, IV therapy, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator support as appropriate.
Accurately document patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members regarding patient status and discharge planning.
Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and respond appropriately to clinical changes.
Serve as a charge nurse or clinical resource as needed.
Maintain compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and blood/body fluid policies.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based performance improvement activities.
Provide patient and family education related to post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
Maintain professional development and current knowledge of age-specific patient care standards.
Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and colleagues.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
BLS (AHA) certification – required.
ACLS certification – required.
PALS certification – required.
Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency exams.
Minimum one (1) year of recent experience (within the last 5 years) in ICU, CVICU, CVPA, ER, SDC, or PACU.
PACU or Same Day Surgery experience preferred.
Strong skills in IV starts, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator management required.
BSN preferred.
