Salary Range:
Minimum: $30.60/hour
Mid-Range: $38.25/hour (10 Years Experience)
Maximum: $45.90/hour (15+ Years Experience)
A hospital serving North Florida communities for over 60 years is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The hospital offers comprehensive services including 24-hour emergency care, heart care, interventional cardiology, orthopedics, cancer services, imaging, and rehabilitation. The facility is nationally recognized for stroke care, chest pain accreditation, and sepsis treatment excellence.
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department. The RN collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care while adhering to state nursing standards and best practices.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department
Monitor and manage patient pain effectively
Perform procedures and interventions as ordered by providers
Document all patient care thoroughly and accurately
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
Provide preventative health education and promote self-management
Respond promptly to patient needs and anticipate potential concerns
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Minimum 1 Year of Acute Care ER RN Experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
Associate Degree in Nursing (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required within 30 Days of Hire
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required within 30 Days of Hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required within 30 Days of Hire
