Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Workday integrations and reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting complex Workday integration solutions across multiple functional areas.

This role requires deep technical knowledge of Workday tools, integration frameworks, security configurations, and enterprise HR ecosystems. The consultant will collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support Workday integrations

• Develop and maintain integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, PECI/PICOF, and REST/SOAP APIs

• Create and maintain Advanced and Composite reports

• Develop calculated fields and manage integration security configurations

• Handle file transfer protocols (SFTP) and encryption standards (PGP, X.509 certificates)

• Work with JSON, XML, XSLT, and error-handling frameworks

• Collaborate with functional teams across HCM modules (e.g., Absence, Time, Payroll, Talent)

• Participate in SDLC processes including documentation, testing, and release management

• Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root-cause analysis

• Communicate technical solutions effectively to stakeholders

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of total IT experience

• 4–6+ years of dedicated Workday integrations experience

• Hands-on expertise with:

  • EIB

  • Core Connectors

  • Workday Studio

  • PECI / PICOF

  • REST & SOAP APIs

• Strong experience in:

  • Advanced & Composite Reporting

  • Calculated Fields

  • Integration Security

• Experience with:

  • SFTP

  • PGP encryption

  • X.509 certificates

  • JSON/XML

  • XSLT

  • Error-handling frameworks

• Solid understanding of Workday HCM data model

• Experience supporting at least two functional areas (Absence/Time, Payroll, Talent, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies

• Excellent debugging, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Workday Extend, Prism, BIRT layouts, or Document Transformation

• Familiarity with iPaaS platforms (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services)

• Knowledge of payroll providers and HR technology ecosystems (ATS, Benefits, LMS)

• Experience with Workday security domains and role-based security

• Scripting/development experience (Python, Java, PowerShell)

• Experience supporting global implementations and multi-country requirements
