Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist – BMT/Oncology

Salary Range: $64.16 – $83.41 per hour (based on years of experience)
Reports To: Director of Pharmacy
A leading state-of-the-art acute care hospital in Las Vegas is seeking a highly specialized Clinical Pharmacist – Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)/Oncology to support its Transplant and Cellular Therapy program. This role primarily supports the outpatient Cancer Care Clinic while also rotating to the inpatient BMT/Oncology unit.
The Clinical Pharmacist will collaborate closely with specialty physicians, nursing, and pharmacy staff to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to hematology, oncology, stem cell transplant, biotherapy, and immune effector cellular therapy patients. This position offers a high level of autonomy and independent clinical decision-making within a collaborative practice environment.
Provide clinical pharmacy services for hematology/oncology and BMT patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Support autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplant regimens.
Assist with CAR T-cell and BiTE therapies.
Perform therapeutic drug monitoring and adjust pharmacotherapy accordingly.
Develop, implement, and monitor oncology order sets, protocols, and evidence-based guidelines.
Provide medication counseling and education to patients and caregivers.
Participate in research initiatives and quality improvement activities.
Support medication distribution, order verification, and clinical interventions.
Serve as a pharmacy representative on interdisciplinary committees and meetings.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) – Required
Current Nevada Pharmacist License – Required
Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) – Required
PGY2 Oncology and/or Bone Marrow Transplant Pharmacy Residency OR
Minimum 5 years of clinical oncology practice experience
Experience practicing in a BMT/Oncology clinic with a collaborative practice agreement
Salary Range: $64.16 – $83.41 per hour (based on years of experience)
Weekend Differential: $1.50 per hour
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
