Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Unit

A respected acute care hospital in Hudson, Florida is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg to join its Medical Surgical team. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
This role requires strong assessment skills, the ability to manage multiple patients efficiently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality clinical outcomes.
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit.
Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the healthcare team.
Coordinate care with physicians, case managers, therapists, and ancillary staff.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (or compact state).
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
Current BLS certification.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
